Privacy guide

Know where interview data goes before the call begins.

Interview audio can include names, work history, confidential projects, and another person’s voice. A privacy review should cover every provider in the path, not only the app’s own database.

Map the data flow

Identify where microphone and computer audio are transcribed, which model receives text or screenshots, and whether the app stores a transcript after the session.

  • Audio destination
  • Model/API destination
  • Saved-history setting
  • Retention and deletion

Minimize what you provide

Use the smallest relevant résumé and role context. Do not attach confidential documents you are not authorized to process. Avoid screenshots that expose unrelated messages or customer data.

Read provider terms and product controls

Beak documents Speechmatics, OpenAI, Firecrawl, and Paddle in its privacy policy. Provider policies can change, so review the current linked documents for a high-sensitivity call.
