Explain that you want to use live transcription or an assistant, name the purpose, and wait for a clear response when consent is required. If the interviewer or employer says no, keep the audio controls off.

Check more than recording law

Interview instructions, confidentiality agreements, assessment rules, and professional duties may be stricter than general recording law.
